Holly Westervelt, MBA, CLF, LUTCF, CLTC

Vice President of Sales

Holly Westervelt, MBA, CLF, LUTCF, CLTC is the Vice President of Sales at Krause Agency. Holly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Leadership as well as her Master of Business Administration degree from Capella University. Holly has over three decades of experience in the insurance industry. She is licensed in Life/Health and Property/Casualty insurance and holds Chartered Leadership Fellow (CLF), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), and Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations.

Jim Palm

Preneed Sales Director

Jim Palm is the Preneed Sales Director at Krause Agency. Jim has a comprehensive and well-rounded background in the funeral profession, having served as a licensed Minnesota funeral director, casket sales representative, preneed sales agent, and agency owner. His deep understanding of the funeral industry combined with insight into the revenue pressures funeral directors face, the realities of competition and consolidation, and the need for stronger market presence enables him to deliver meaningful solutions.

What is all included with my registration?

Your registration includes access to the full two-day event, lunch on both days, a snack break both days, and printed copy of the course materials (to be handed out at the event). Note your registration does not secure you personal accommodations at the hotel. If you plan on staying at the Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel, you will need to book your own room.

Is there a hotel room block?

No, there is not a Krause Agency room block, booking link, or code. You can book a room on your own on the hotel’s website.

Is this event appropriate for professionals who do not work in Minnesota?

This event is designed for funeral professionals, preneed advisors, and insurance agents working in the preneed space in Minnesota. While this event can benefit those professionals outside of Minnesota as well, please note CE credit has only been applied for in the state of Minnesota.

What does "dual credit" mean?

This event is dual credit, meaning it is designed to provide credit for both funeral professional CE and insurance CE. The course is currently pending for 12.0 credits for each CE type. Each session is worth 3.0 credit hours.

Can I attend just one day or do I need to attend both days?

If you’re only available for one of the two days, you can select which day you’re attending during registration. If you’re only attending one day, the cost of registration will reduce to $100.

Do I need to be appointed with Krause Agency to attend?

No! This event is open to any professionals in the funeral, preneed, and insurance space.

What's the refund/cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change; however, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations. If you’re no longer able to attend, please reach out to us as soon as possible, and we’ll be happy to discuss whether your registration can be deferred to a future event.
